When it comes to wealth, I always think of Jerry Catena. Not an official boss, but he was acting for Vito for a while Again, he was an official boss. Vincent Cafaro, whoI imagine you’re getting this from didn’t even know the boss when he was made in 1976 (though he claims he was made in 1974, this isn’t true and has been debunked) let alone the boss in 1969. Catena stepped down in 1972 I believe. I am getting this from over 20 years of researching this topic. He was never an official boss and that's that. But please provide the evidence. We're all waiting lol
But you had to play it cool, had to do it your way Had to be a fool, had to throw it all away

My vote goes to Louis (Lepke) Bucholter, who had a conglamorate in the Garment District, trucking, movies, bakeries, etc. Nobody ever talks about the Jewish gangsters in discussions like these. I'm still going through Zwillman's FBI files (and not just that one volume you recommended....the other ones on the FBI Vault. There's a LOT. I might have asked you this before, but do you think Zwillman really committed suicide?
