Frederick J. Tenuto #14 May 24, 1950
A low level criminal, Tenuto escaped from the Philadelphia County Prison in a jailbreak with four other inmates including bank robber Willie "The Actor" Sutton on February 10, 1947. Eluding authorities for several years, Sutton was eventually identified in early 1952 while riding in a New York City Subway train by Brooklyn resident Arnold Schuster. After Schuster was murdered following a television interview, authorities suspected Tenuto of the killing (supposedly on the orders of New York mobster Albert Anastasia),[4] who had been officially placed on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted list on May 24, 1950,and was never captured.
Tenuto's name remained on the FBI's Most Wanted list for over 14 years. It was removed on March 9, 1964, amid reports Tenuto had been killed and secretly buried.

Anthony Brancato - U.S. prisoner surrendered to the FBI June 29, 1951, in San Francisco, California, after seeing the INS news story in the San Francisco Call-Bulletin. Brancato was the primary suspect of the group of robbers who robbed the sports and race book at the Flamingo Hotel-Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Broncato soon bailed out, and was murdered about 6 weeks later on August 7. 1951, by Los Angeles Mafia capo Jimmy Fratianno, who confessed to the famous Two Tonys murders in his book, The Last Mafioso.

Angelo Luigi Pero (1905-1971) was a member of the Genovese crime family. Angelo is believed to live in Brooklyn and had 4 convictions, including Armed Robbery. Wanted, with Dominic Scialo the future Colombo Captain for a double murder in 1958, he went on the "lam". It is not known if he was caught before his death in 1971. Angelo Luigi Pero aka Shelly (1905-1971) was a member of the Genovese family. He had a criminal record from 1929 for such arrests as rape, vagrancy, grand larceny, assault and robbery, parole violation, stolen property, bookmaking and homicide. He was a Top Ten Fugitive of the FBI from 1958, which process was dismissed in 1960 in view of the dismissal of local process. He was actively engaged in bookmaking and shylocking in the Coney Island section. Close friend of Mimi Scialo, Colombo capo.

Carmen Raymond Gagliardi

Gagliardi was a Mafia hitman who murdered Joe Lanza, a North End bartender and police informant, in 1967. But the cops stopped Gags’ rented car with the warm body still in it. He escaped and hid out long enough to be placed on the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted List. He was finally arrested at his mother’s house in Medford in December 1968. Convicted of second-degree murder, he was imprisoned at MCIWalpole, where he was a suspect in the murder of Albert DeSalvo, the alleged Boston Strangler. Gags died of a drug overdose at MCI-Walpole in January 1975.

Carmine Persico a.k.a. Junior was serving a 100-year sentence after being convicted of murder and labor and construction racketeering in 1986. He was arrested February 15, 1985, in Wantagh, New York, by FBI Agents. Persico was boss of the New York-based Colombo crime family.

Paul Ragusa has been imprisoned in the U.S. since 1998. He was arrested on January 30, 1998 in New York. He had cosmetic surgery in 1997 following an indictment on racketeering charges June 14, 1996. He was wanted in shooting of two security guards at a Chemical Bank branch in Maspeth, Queens, June 23, 1993; beating a burglar with a baseball bat on Fresh Pond Road in Ridgewood, New York in 1990 (charges were dropped in the beating case); beating a stranger in a van in the face with a stick in Ridgewood, New York in March 1989.
