During his time at the helm, he garnered the respect and admiration of his fellow officers, and I believe he also gained the begrudging admiration of many knockaround guys as well. Especially in Queens County where Remo was most prevalent and rubbed elbows with many of his potential targets.

. Absolutely NYMafia! I’ve heard of his name since I was young from my relatives who were in LE. He was really respected by his fellow officers all over NY and even out of state
