Lakers trade for Westbrook and sign Dwight Howard, Trevor Ariza, and Carmelo Anthony. They should win it all next year, baring injuries. Really pulling for Melo to get a ring finally!

Knicks also sign Kemba Walker. Curry resigns with the Warriors for 4 years, $215 million. He becomes the first player in NBA history to sign two $200+ million contracts. DeMar DeRozan's & Lonzo Ball are heading to Chicago.

Brooklyn's in full rebuild mode. Kinda surprised Kyrie and KD didn't have more success in Brooklyn but also, no one predicted the pandemic and the lack of playing time they'd have together. Huge deal Phoenix made to get KD. I think they've gotta be the title favorites now. Wouldn't mind seeing them win.

I'm a Lakers fan but for what they did to Russ I hope Russ busts their ass in their first match up.

Sure he had some difficulties with shooting but the Lakers fans (overall) and the front office were out of pocket with some of the comments.

Good for him - he's staying in the city he grew up in with two guys who are also from LA.

Houston Rockets guard Kevin Porter Jr. was arrested in New York City on Monday for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, former WNBA player Kysre Gondrezick, police sources told ABC News.

Porter, 23, was formally charged with assault and strangulation.

Porter returned early Monday morning from an evening out to the Millennium Hilton near U.N. Plaza, where he and Gondrezick were staying. Gondrezick was upset with the late hour of his return and locked the door, according to police sources. Once he entered with the help of hotel security, Porter beat up the woman, the sources said.
