Serp off the cuff here but what a nice guy Tommy was, the bartender from Angelonis! God rest his soul! You had to know him. Great guy. Had a stroke in october then was making a comeback the had a fatal stroke a couple of Saturdays ago Yeah terrible! I knew Tommy and his father and his brother Tony all gone ....RIP ... very close. ... Tony was around when he was younger Tommy was younger then us ... but we took him along many of nights. Matter of fact we had Tommy up in Frank Sinatra’s suite when he was contacted ant Golden Nugget..... not the Nugget Trumps old place .... the one up by Stockton College. Many of great nights up in the place with some famous people.... truly those were the days .

Pete & Mary were the bartenders in 80’s Tommy was the waiter Noodles & Concetta were servers also Concetta is Mary sister...Mary moved to Chicago and Tommy took her spot right after Phil flipped. The reason Mary went is kinda had to do with Phil flipping.

Yeah it didn't take Leonetti and Scarfo long to figure out what a major mistake it was allowing Salerno to be at that hit.They scared him strait to the feds arms.Leonetti says in Mafia Prince that he was very close to killing Salerno at that time of the murder if he would have continued his behavior.That poor decision by Scarfo nearly cost those 3 their freedom for life.I believe it was finally Leonetti who was the one who solved the Tony Capinegro killing.If he is again to be believed.I do think his version is accepted as fact.It shows that Scarfo leading thru fear is actually the opposite of how a good boss or leader in the mob should operate.Again he scared The Plumber to the law.In the Salerno and Capinegro killings it is understood that not only Gigante but Manna and Fat Tony were present as the Genevese killers slowly tortured these men.That is an entire hit team.And not one of those killers flipped and told.It wasn't until Leonetti turned that this came out.So when the soldiers respected the boss it seems loyalty was strong as opposed toScarfo fear tactics and hair trigger Memphis I am not so sure loyalty had all that much to do with it. Put life in front of every guy on that hit team, lets say there was 4 of them. I would bet the ranch that 1 out of 4 folds.

Slightly off topic, but does anyone know Nick Sr.'s height? He's usually said to be 5'5", but that seems tall! More like 5'2" or 5'3".
Is Phil L 5'6" or 5'7"?
Also, isn't Joey Merlino like 5'2" as well? These Philly guys are short!

It's amazing to see where these folks end up after being mixed up in such drama.
I feel bad for Yogi Merlino's ex-wife and kids. Seems like they were trying to get a legitimate business off the ground after everything went down. Contractor's website seems dated, but I wonder how they're all doing!
