I have them on my Columbia House wish list (plan on getting them soon) and was wondering what the consensus is on them? Are they good? bad? Worth it? Thanks.

I thought "Last Don" 1 was pretty good, mainly because it had a lot of Danny Aiello, who's always good. "2" was less good because there was less Aiello. Both were better than the novel, which Puzo cluttered up with so much Hollywood BS that it practically sank under its own weight.

Let's not forget Jason Gedrick as Joseph D. Pistone Egan/'Joe Falcone' aka Donnie Brasco

I suggest you get the Last Don Part 1. It goes through 30 years of a Family (both blood and mafia families) life.

It is pretty good and entertaining.

The second one is horrible. Dont get it.

I think he was referring to me since I initially asked about it.
