Both of them are good films but you either really like Casino or Goodfellas.

I like few scenes of Goodfellas but i really like Casino. What do you say?

I used to love Casino more than Goodfellas & then one day I changed my mind after repeatdely watching Goodfellas. If I only had one DVD and I had to choose, Goodfellas for me.

Goodfellas absolutely rocks, Casino isnt really in the same league as Goodfellas in my opinion.

Two very different movies despite similar casts. "Goodfellas" has slam-bang action and plenty of mordant humor. "Casino" gives a long, detailed, slower look at the casino business. But, if you press me, I come out where Irishman did: "Goodfellas" over "Casino."

Goodfellas, hands down..I recd the DVD for my birthday and I was absolutely immersed in it for days. I especially liked the narration/version of the real Henry Hill. I had to actually put the DVD away I was becoming so hooked on it. Casino is an excellent movie, but for me Goodfellas is much better.

Butta, how's the commentary by Henry Hill? I started to watch the movie last night with cast & crew commentary (which has too many people in my opinion. I just wanted Marty & maybe Ray, Robert & Joe, but not everyone else). Anyway, I started to watch the movie & I had to turn the commentary off. I WANTED to watch the movie instead of hearing what they had to say

Irishman, its awesome. He actually talks thru the whole movie though, but you can still pretty much hear the movie. I totally enjoyed getting his take on each scene, along with his elaboration on the actual events. It was great!

I havent seen Casino in awhile, so I will have to say Goodfellas.But I agree with Turnbull, they are very diffrent movies.

If winners never lose, well, then a loser sure can sing the blues.

With that logic, you could say that SHOWTIME is better than GOODFELLAS.

Both GOODFELLAS and CASINO are two different animals but look similar....I dig them both, but forced to pick and choose....make mine GOODFELLAS!

Showtime isn't that bad, I just don't really like Goodfellas cause I'm not a huge Loita fan either

Both movies Rock! comparing GoodFellas and Casino is like comparing Bobby DeNiro to Al Pacino. but for me GoodFellas with a slight edge.

both class films but would have to go for goodfells,just.pesci parts in both films deserve oscars

Tough descision but I would have to say Casino 'cos of Joe Pesci.
Nick Santoro absolutely goes ballistic with his cursing and comments. IMHO his performance was better in Casino than in Goodfellas. Plus, as Don Leporeleone said Casino has more parts with DeNiro in it

Still Goodfellas is a fantastic movie, not a big fan of Ray Liota's character Henry Hill. Watch the movie Narc if you want to see Liota's best performance of his career. He was absolutey electrifying
