I've seen -

GF Trilogy (goes without saying!)
Sopranos
Scarface
Goodfellas
Casino
Miller's Crossing
Road to Perdition

Can anyone recommend some others to watch? (bearing in mind "The Public Enemy" - 1932 is not available on DVD)

Thanks guys!

Mean Streets is the only other one I can think of right now,but I'm sure I'm over looking about 100 GOOD ones. I wont even go into other ones

Analzye this

and THE UNTOUCHABLES

When some one needs to be whacked you call Don Leporleone,
When some one needs to be paid off you call Don Leporeloene,
When some one needs protection you call Don Leporeleone....
But when you buy canolis from the bakery you don't share them with Don Leporeleone, what have I ever done to make you treat me so disrespectfully

Vito, I'm pretty sure F5A has seen The French Connection (thanks to me)! Wouldn't say it was a mob movie, but definitely recommend it as one of the best crime thrillers around, still even today.

Indeed I have seen "The French Connection", but I've yet to see FCII (I've got it, but it's on my rather long to-see list!).

Thanks for the recommendations guys!

Of the above, I have not yet seen:

A Bronx Tale
Mean Streets
Analyze That
Mobsters

Do so! I have the VHS, and it has been in my Top 10 for some time. Definitely one of Scorsese's finest (I rnka it only behind Taxi Driver. I'm about to order the Region 1 from CD-Wow for a tenner.
