I seem to remember someone on this website mentioning thatSonny Black just died in prison/or was killed recently from Donnie Brasco. Can anyone confirm this information?

Dominic (Sonny Black) Napolitano was killed not long after "Donnie Brasco" was revealed as an FBI agent. What you may have heard recently was that, during the current trial of Joey Massino (the Bonanno boss), his brother in law and underboss, who turned rat, testified that he was the one who was ordered to whack Sonny Black.

Yes, the way that Turnbull explains it is how it went down. I do believe, (correct my if I'm wrong Turnbull ) that Lefty Ruggerio was the one who died in jail, I think from cancer. Maybe that is who you are thinking about?
