And also . . .. this has been bothering me . . . what did mike do between GF2 and 3 to become so honored? I mean at the end of gf2 . . . he is just another gangster . . . a really powerful one. But still....at the beginning of GF3 . . . everyone wants to meet him, interview him. . . he is in the papers. What happened in the 60's and 70's? Thanks!

No one knows what happened between 2 and 3.All we know is that Tom Hagen misteriously died and Michael became legit (in the public eyes.) Just one of the many holes in GF3. If winners never lose, well, then a loser sure can sing the blues.
