Yes DV, Wiseguy is very good. Probably my favorite book,(except the Godfather), but I dont really read anything outside Mafia books. I wouldnt get Casino if I was you though. I thought it moved slow and parts were boring, just like the movie. Wiseguy I couldnt put down and it really gives a lot of details that werent in Goodfellas.
I buy you out. You don't buy me out.

I really can't stress how good Wiseguy is. You know how some books have a little bit of boring parts before it gets interesting? Wiseguy is nonstop action and it keeps your attention at all times.
By the way that cover is the new cover that I was talking about in a different post about this book. I wonder why they changed it?

I know this for a fact. I went shopping for the book Casino well over a year ago and here is what i found out. The cover with Ginger is still in print BUT that is the screenplay. It was NOT written by Pileggi, but is merely the retelling of the movie. The novel which is fully titled "Casino, Love and Honor in Las Vegas" is the actual book that the film "Casino" was based on. That book has been OUT OF PRINT for quite some time now, a few years if Im correct. I just got my copy of Pileggi's Casino about 3 months ago from ebay and I am glad that I finally add it to my collection.
Bart, Is it wrong to steal a loaf of bread to feed your starving family? No. Well suppose you got a large starving family, is it wrong to steal a truckload of bread to feed them? Uh-uh. And what if your family don't like bread, they like cigarettes? I guess thats ok. Now what if instead of giving them away, you sold them at a price that was practically giving them away. Would that be a crime Bart?

Don Mataya, the one you have is the actual novel written by Pileggi. That is the same one I have and is the actual novel that the film was based on.
