In the UK we have two Deniro/Scorses movies on at the same time!

12.20 - Mean Streets
12.25 - A Bronx Tale

Why do schedulers do this! are they thick? We have complete and utter s****e on for most of the day and then they schedule two great movies within 5 mins starting time of each other.

ive seen mean streets and got bronx tale for xmas (havnt watched it yet though!) if you havnt seen them and dont want to tape them watch mean streets because i can definitely say this is (IMO) a great film, whereas with a bronx tale i cant comment.

"A bronx Tale" is on BBC2 @ 12:25am (after "The Shinning")and "Mean Streets" is on ITV @12:20am.

i've got Mean Streets already, so i'll tape A Bronx Tale. thanks for reminding me. also i think theres a making of Gangs of New York on before Mean Streets i think.

You are right - 11:50 ITV "making of Gangs of New Yoik"

I may be getting a little too picky but Scorsese didn't have anything to do with "A Bronx Tale".

If I had to chose I'd pick 'Mean Streets' everytime. (As though you couldn't tell by my avatar and tagline )
Bronx Tale is good too though and DeNiro did great I thought with his directorial debut on the film
Off topic, but The Shining another fantastic film, all shown on the same night and clashing :rolleyes:

Sorry Spanish Inquisition - I did mean to say two films with DeDiro/Deniro Scorsese - I do know that A bronx Tale was directed by DeNiro.

I think I'm going to have Mean Streets & Making of Gangs of Noo Yoik

i watched the "making of gangs..." it wasnt exactly the making of it, only a view of the british premiere.
