We finally disagree on something, Capo.

Yeah, the book said Tessio was smarter (than Clemenza) but I've never seen any proof of it. He (Tessio) made a STUPID error at the end (under-estimating Don Vito and Michael) and his (Tessio) poor judgement cost him his life.

My vote goes to Clemenza. Fiercely loyal and effective (it was Clemenza whom Vito chose to escort Mike back from Sicily), dangerous and there BEFORE the beginning (it was Clemenza who started Vito on his destined path).
