What is the most violent scene you ever seen in a movie. I havent seen to many but one that sicks out alot has to be in Casino. When Nicky get's his in the end, I just felt it was soo gruesome..

Yeah, that was pretty bad. Or the vice scene in Casino. When Pesci stabbs Billy Batts in the trunk of the car, thats pretty bad too.

Yeah the chainsaw seen is pretty violent

I hate people who are against vengance, they say that killing them won't make the lost come back, the way i see it, if you let them get away with that, they'll do it again and again until you are destroyed.

For sheer gory violence, I vote for any of the transformations that occur in John Carpenter's "The Thing." But the opening gang war in "Gangs of New York" is pushing the envelope.

Or, when Sonny gets shot at the causeway.

Ya know the chainsaw scene didn't bother me so much. Maybe it becuase I was little when I saw it but the ending of Braveheart was pretty bad, even though they didn't show much, it was still gross.

How about the wood chipper scence in Fargo, and the first 30 mins of Saving Private Ryan.

I'm with Verbal Assassin on this one. Private Ryans intro was bad. Definately drew me into the movie with chills down my spine.

The most graphic scenes that come to mind is opening scene of "Saving Private Ryan" which was visually graphic.

Casino with Joe Pesci and his brother getting whacked in the cornfield which was not that bloody but the sound effects of the bats hitting the bodies was graphic.

how about the one in american history x when the black guy's teeth is put on the pavement before his head is stamped on? santoro's death was disturbing, as was the rape scene in once upon...america. this made me dislike the film!! probably down to de niro's tremendous acting.

I don't know if you guys have ever seen 'The Cell' (w/ Jennifer Lopez, ya need to). There's a scene in the movie where the villain is gutting a body in the bathtub. Gruesome.

most violent for me was the shooting of Santino in the causeway. a lot of gunman and recieving those 100 plus bullets.

The end of Scarface was pretty violent and Saving Private Ryan was violent too.

the hook scene in 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre' is pretty violent in its way...

Some scenes from Natural Born Killers are pretty bloody to, especially directors cut version

I remember staring in awe at the first half hour or so of Saving Private Ryan... What a great movie, and a great opening sequence.

Yup this one is pretty bad in my opinion. Also is the scene in Goodfellas when he shoots the guy in the trunk that wasn't quite dead yet..

You know, I have never actually WATCHED that scene in American History X. I knew it was coming and I closed my eyes the first time we watched it cause I knew it would make me cry. There is nothing like injustice to make me weep like a child! The second time we watched it I kept my eyes closed again.

I think the most violent scene is any rape scene, arguably the most dispicable/violent act other than murder (I personally think it's worse). I particularly hate Noodles raping the woman in "Once Upon a Time in America."

i think the reason why Noodles did that to Deborah was he's "desperately in love" with her. Noodles has no choice, the girl will go to hollywood and leave him. that's his last resort as the "desperately in love guy", IMHO. . .
