Who was your favorite? Henry, Jimmy, or Tommy? I personally love Tommy! Joe Pesci is my hero! Haha! (And Joe Pesci is my nickname, and so is Al Pacino. Damn, I look so Italian! )

Im gonna say Henry or Tommy, I liked Henrys personality, how he was a wise guy but at the same time a sorta warm-hearted regulalr guy, but Tommy was a character for sure.

I'm also going to have to go with Jimmy Conway... Tommy was a bit too wild... and I'm sorry, but I think that Henry was a loser. Totally.

Tony Soprano : You're looking good. Looking better.
Junior Soprano: Tony, if you're gonna lie to me, tell me there's a broad in the car waiting to tongue my balls.
Tony Soprano : Hey, you want that, it's a phone call away.

I have to say my favorite character was Paulie, just so cool about everything.

Does that really surprise ya?? Nobody likes a traitor/rat. (Think about all the negative comments on characters like Paullie Gatto and Carlo Rizi).

right SC, this surprises me. Henry is different, he has charisma and opened people's minds regarding or whats happening inside the Mafia compared to Paulie and Carlo. thats why we appreciate his movie and book. but still, i voted for Jimmy Conway . . .

My vote has got to go with Jimmy Conway. I was always impressed with how De Niro played the character from his late twenties to his mid fifties, always looking totally natural in that role.

I only wish the character of Jimmy Conway
could have been developed a little more.

A difficulty with this question is seperating the characters as they came across in the movie and what else we know about them. I was tempted to go with Henry. Though he is a rat, I had some respect for him. Ray Liotta's great performance made me sympathetic to the guy and the way he turned his back on what was he part of and appeared to begin a new life.

However as I find out more about the real Henry Hill's shameless self publicity and his resumption of drugs and crime, it's difficult to see him as anything other than a traitor.

Jimmy Conway is the best in my book!
