Which one of the Martin Scorsese(spelling?), Joe Pesci, Robert De Niro, Frank Vincent calaborations is the best? Hmmm... I'd have to say GoodFellas.. How 'bout you?

Good...yet hard...question. A poll would've been better: just which is better out of:

Mean Streets
Taxi Driver
New York, New York
Raging Bull
The King Of Comedy
GoodFellas
Cape Fear
Casino

I haven't seen Mean Streets, NY, NY, or The King Of Comedy, but out of the ones I HAVE seen, GoodFellas is the best, only just. I rank them like so:

1 GoodFellas
2 Raging Bull
3 Taxi Driver
4 Casino
5 Cape Fear

That's about right. They really SHOULD do more collaborations, they've made so many masterpieces.

Here's a link for De Niro/Scorsese fans:
Sock it to me baby ! where you'll also find a poll.

Personally I really like :
1) Goodfellas
2) New York, New York
3) Taxi Driver

I highly reccommend that you treat yourself to Raging Bull & Taxi Driver.

Another great Marty film from the eighties is After Hours. It does not have DeNiro or any mob afiliation, but it's a great New York underground story.

My choice would definitely be Goodfellas

I would say "Goodfellas". I have grown to like that film a lot better than the others. Now "Go get your shinebox."

What a tough decesion! Goodfellas is awesome, but my most recent obsession would have to be the Godfather....and Casino comes in close!

They are all great films but Raging Bull is in a class way above the others. Both Deniro and Pesci were in their prime. Although they are still great actors, they never could match the energy and realism they put into their RB roles.

In terms of non-mob movies that Scorsese has done (sans Raging Bull) I think "The Last Waltz" was a masterpiece for rock music movies, and "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore" just for the great acting.

However, I think "Goodfellas" is my favorite, followed by "Taxi Driver".

All three are great. I'd have to say Goodfellas is my favorite.
