I was just wondering if any one had heard any thing more about a film regarding Sammy the Bull with pesci in the lead role, cos i know it was mentioned on the board a while ago, and i did read that it was going ahead, in a movie magazine a while ago.

Yeah, I heard the same, probably here too. But nothing has ever come about it. I've just checked IMDB but still nothing - regarding Pesci's new tasks anyway. He would have made a good Gravano too, got the build and size plus the acting abilty. Definately pull off the wolves type eyes too. I just wonder if he could keep as quiet as him though.

Pesci would be a helluva lot more convincing as Gravano than Nicholas Turturro, who played him in "Witness to the Mob," a pretty dismal made-for-TV film based on "Underboss." I would have turned it off were it not for the rest of the cast, which was pretty good. I liked Tom Sizemore as Gotti--better than Armand Assante as Gotti.

That would be a great movie. I hope they make it I think Joe Pesci would do it some justice.

Leonard: I dont know. See, I have this condition.
Teddy: Well, I hope its not as serious as his, 'cos this guy's dead.

Pesci as Gravano? yeah I'd watch that. Maybe they could cast Deniro as Gotti and definately Chaz Palmentieri as Chin Gigante.

I think Pesci would do a great job as Gravano. Chaz Palmentari would be great as Gigante. Armand Assante should play Gotti again in this movie. I thought he did an excellent job as John Gotti. Since Gravano is or was helping with the production of the movie, it should be good because it might be a little more accurate than other movies about Gotti and Gravano. But if Gravano is still allowed to help, the movie will try to portray Gravano as the "hero." That will be one of the inaccurate facts in the movie. But I'm sure Gravano is not allowed to help anymore. I wonder if it will show something about the "legit" businesses he was running in Arizona?

Pesci? In a new Mob film. F*cking awesome. He's my favorite actor... First I've heard of it. I'll keep my eyes open...
