Forgive my ignorance here, but was Jackie Aprile Jr in the 3rd season of the Sopranos or another one?
I always thought he was in the 2nd season, but I was wrong.

He appears briefly in a couple of episodes in the 2nd series.

Firstly, at Richie's new house when Tony comes to see Janice. Tony is disappointed that Jackie Jnr quit medical school because Jackie Aprile Snr was a man with a 'love of knowledge' and it would have broken his heart.

He hangs around Richie who wishes he had a son like Jackie Jnr, rather than his own ballroom
dancing son who Janice irritatingly calls
'Little Ricky.'

In another scene he comes with Richie to Junior
house. I don't think Junior's impressed because
he pretends not to hear Jackie Jnr when he talks.

I think these are Jackie Jnr's only apperances in
Season 2 - we don't really know him until Series 3.
