Just caught a glimpse of the trailer on T.V., but didn't catch the release date. Anyone got the low-down on this Tom Hanks gangster flick?

Thanks, M.F.M.! I always forget about that site! Looks like it could be a good flick....sort of Schindler's List meets The Godfather...?

almost all of Hanks later films have been great.

Very true. From Cast Away to Forrest Gump,They have all been pretty good. The only mediocre one I could think of is You've Got Mail, which isnt that bad.

Yeah, I'm not into the light-hearted comdies anyway. But I guess for those who are, Hanks does okay. I confess I saw Big, Splash,
and The Money Pit, and he did okay. The only really forgettable Hanks film was The Man with One Red Shoe. Personally, I think he should stick to the dramas, actions, or adventures.
