Bad film, not too bad, it's still watchable but because it is so innaccurate it spoils too much. The film leaves out so much aswell and the portrayals of Luciano and all the others are quite innaccurate too.

In this Board "Other Mob Films/Books..." etc. Theres been a few threads about this film. Most people agree with this perseption.

Mobsters has to be one of the worst movies, I think I have ever seen. The movie is basically 95% bullshit, and the acting is horrible. Christian Slater? Damn! Rather than wasting your time, watch a good flick that tells a story. Don't waste money on buying it and don't waste your money on renting it.In other words.....This movie SUCKS.

Tony Montana

First rule of Fight Club, you do not talk about Fight Club. Second rule of Fight Club, you DO NOT talk about Fight Club. Third rule of Fight Club, when someone say "stop" or goes limp, the fight is over. Fourth rule of Fight Club, only two guys to a fight. Fifth rule of Fight Club, one fight at a time. Sixth rule of Fight Club, no shirt, no shoes. Seventh rule of Fight Club, fights go on as long as they have to. Eighth and final rule of Fight Club if this is your first night at Fight Club you have to fight.

Its a ok movie I would not pay over 5 dollars for it. What really pisssed me of was the ending.

Leonard: I dont know. See, I have this condition.
Teddy: Well, I hope its not as serious as his, 'cos this guy's dead.

Jesus Tony Montana. Don't hide your feelings let them out.

I liked it I'll admit it's not very accurate, but still a good movie.

Daniel,
Do yourself a favor. Go to a video store and rent "The Gangster Wars" starring Brian Benben as Lansky, Joe Penny as Bugsy. I forget the other fellows name at this moment who plays Luciano, but you'll know him when you see him. This was originally a TV mini series called " The Gangster Chronicles." Then it was relleased to video tape and "The Gangster Wars." It is a pretty accurate and well made story. Does anyone know if the full mini series has ever been released?

Don Cardi

Don Cardi cool

Five - ten years from now, they're gonna wish there was American Cosa Nostra. Five - ten years from now, they're gonna miss John Gotti.
