I was scanning through the Godfather novel yesterday when I spotted something. The word "Counsler" was spelt as "Consigliori" instead of the "Consiglieri" that is used on this site.

Does anyone know if it was misspelt in the book or on this site? Does anyone think it's only in few copies that that mistake exists?

"..Your youngest and strongest will fall by the sword.."

"...now you gotta speak more than one language to pull a heist..." Pudge Nichols

"...Never shall innocent blood be shed; yet the blood of the wicked shall flow like a river. The THREE shall spread their blackened wings and be the vengeaful striking hammer of God..."

Or is it Consigliere?

"It is no secret that organized crime in America takes in over forty billion dollars a year. This is quite a profitable sum, especially when one considers that the Mafia spends very little for office supplies."
-Woody Allen

"I'm going to blame some of the people in this room. And that, I do not forgive."

-Don Vito Corleone

he spells it as "Consigliere" , capitalized. I've never seen any other book capitalize it though they all spell it the same. Babelfish gives 'consigliere' as councilman and 'consiglieri' and councilmen.

"Bacio tua mano."

"But...it was so artistically done."

I guess I misspelt my question.....Shut up Bogus

I meant the "O" in "Consigliore" as opposed to JG's "[b]Consigliere"

"help me, you will??"

"Told you I did. Reckless is he."

I haven't noticed it in my version...but I did notice some pretty glaring spelling errors/typos...
