Goodfellas was a great movie, but I think Casino is my favorite non-godfather mob movie.

Right off the bat, I would probably say Goodfellas. But if I really think about it, I would have to say I really like A Bronx Tale. A Bronx Tale is one damn good movie.

Goodfellas because it was a true story and it was Scorsese at his best. Great music, casting.

I also liked Untouchables because the style was really good.

I got to go with Casino, Goodfellas, Once Upon A Time in America, Untouchables,and probs Donnie Brasco. I love all these films and I can watch 'em a miilions times. hahah

Carlito's Way, Its dif. from other mob movies because Pacino is Puerto Rican and He talks to the audience and that adds alot of character to the film.

Definately Donnie Brasco. After Godfather I, it's my all time favourite movie. Al Pacino, Johnny Depp and Michael Madsen all in the same movie - how can it go wrong?

No one has mentioned Mean Streets yet. THe gangsters in it are much more small-time than those in the Godfather films or even in Goodfellas, but hoodlums they are nonetheless. If you haven't seen it, you should! It's Scorsese's debut film (I think) and it establishes his now-well-known motif: great period music, fast edits, realistic violence.

The Untouchables
and
A Bronx Tale

The Untouchables, great story line, fabulous acting, Andy Garcia and Robert DeNiro in the same movie. I also dig the whole triumph over evil as well!

A Bronx Tale- i love it because it was wonderfully done, the music was great, the acting was great, the story was wonderful. Can ya'll tell i love this movie? Also, kudos to Robert DeNiro for casting the most Black people i've ever seen in any "Mob" movie!! LOL
