Have you seen the "Casino movie" and what scene did you like best.

Personal i like the scene almost at the and of the movie most, it's one of the hardest scene's ive ever seen.

I'm speaking (writing) about the scene when Nicky and his brother got a beating with baseball bats, after this beating they where burried alive.

Personally I have 3 favs and can't choose between them.

1] The scene where Pesci gets someone's skull in the middle of a metal tool (G-shaped thing used mainly by mechanics and carpenters)...That was THE first time I've seen such a scene.

2] When Pesci meets with the banker in Deniro's house and gives him the speach about cracking his skull open twice.

3] When Stone asks Pesci to whack Deniro and he barks at her: "...I've known the guy for 35 years and now I'm gonna whack him for YOU???" I was always confused at Pesci's real concern here: Was he concerned about killing his friend? Or was he scared of the bosses back home.

Sonny - There called G-clamps over.

Yeah your right Don Michael about the baseball bat scene. I still remember first seeing that scene and the shock I felt from it. But a great scene.

My favourita scenes are in the actual casino itself where the ex cons are working for 'Ace' trying to catch other cheats. I love the sofistication and intelligence of it.

My plan to become rich involves me saving alot of money and putting it all on the roulette table - Black 21. Its a no doubt win. You all might laugh now......

My favorite scene is the one in which Ace and Nicky have a conversation in the middle of the desert. Just hearing what Nicky says puts a smile on my face every time I watch it.

I think Nicky (Pesci) was scared of the bosses. He had reason enough for it. In the so called baseball bat scene it all became treu. He got whacked.

The best part in Casino would have to be the end when Deniro says "And That's that" and then you hear the song Theme De Camille. I don't know about the rest of you but almost all of my favorite scenes in movies are the ones accompanied with a good song. Like in Taxi Driver when Late for the Sky is playing when he's watching American Bandstand and in Raging Bull when they show those homevideos of deniro and pesci and they have that song playing. If anyone can tell me the name of that song it would be appreciated?

I see what you mean Josh with the best scenes usually accompanied by music.

One what springs to mind for me would be Reservouir Dogs - 'Stuck in the Middle With You' with the cutting the ear scene and the dousing of petrol on the cop.

I loved the bar scene where some wiseguy was mouthing off to De Niro so Pecsi jumps in and stabs him in the neck with a pen.

The best scene in my opinion is when Pesci gives his speech to the banker. He was great in goodfellas, but I don't know if he had a single speech in it as good as that.

Well, I woke up this mornin', and I got myself a beer. The future's uncertain but the end is always near....

There we've got a point. Personally i think that the music is one of the strongest parts of each movie or scene. I think i would'nt like the Godfather so much if the music was made by Michael Jackson or so.

I liked Pesci's rant, and when he has sex with rothsteins wife. I also like the part where Ace monitors the floor of the casino with paranoid acuteness, and finally the end scene where he's in his house.

I just like how the film leads you on to believe DeNiro is dead the entire film, then it cuts to a man helping him out of the car (while he wears his ridiculous pink suit)

Tell you what I liked about this film. Remember Sharon Stone with those dollar bills folded into sqaures and she smoothly passes them into other peoples hands (I think it was so they turned a blind eye to the drugs she was taking/buying etc.)

Well after watching that again maybe about 3 months or so ago, I went out and I was really drunk, I mean really drunk, just got paid drank loads before I went out etc with a few mates. Anyway I tried to be as smooth and was jokingly passing £5 (to me £5 can buy me 2 pints, thats hwo I think of money) notes to people I knew expecting to get them back. I did get my money back most of the time. But I woke up the next day about £15 short of cash than usual. Damn it. Been ripped off, unless I actually spent it on more beer. My own fault I suppose.

I liked the whole movie in general, but I haven't seen it for at least 4 years, so it's difficult to pick out a favourite scene.
I do remember that Sharon Stone couldn't reach De Niro's level of acting, which affected the movie a little.

Thanks for reminding to watch it again!

My favorite scene is when Ace and Nicky beat up the cheaters at the Black Jack table.

'Can you deal with your left hand?'
'no'.
Then they hit him on his right hand several times. Hehe, that's harsh.
