greetings, guys!
I am curious whether the knowledge on the godfather facts you posess is based upon the movies only. This is because having read the novel I realized there is the whole world in the world I havent seen before. And then, when I saw the godfather movie, I thought it was wonderful but merely showing the most basic facts of the plot, impossible to be interpreted fully without having read the book, it did not "show the new world".
The second and the third part works just the same as far as the movies are concerned. Don't get me wrong, I love all the movies, but didn't Don Puzo leave us something to guide us more specifficaly?
I know the films depict the basics, that shows! But basics of what?

Thanks a lot.

Shastan

Somethings are predicated upon one's foreknowlege. If you are familiar somewhat with the Mafia and everyday families, it all makes sense.

"Generosity. That was my first mistake."
"Experience must be our only guide; reason may mislead us."
"Instagram is Twitter for people who can't read."

Harnan Lebo's book 'The Godfather Legacy' is excellent and provides a great insight into parts 1 and 2.

You can buy it from amazon.
