Well since summer is here I am almost finished with the sicilian. And I wanted to know what other Puzo novels are a good read. I have The Fortunate Pilgrim and The Dark Arena for starters.

They are both pretty good books from what I have heard.

Leonard: I dont know. See, I have this condition.
Teddy: Well, I hope its not as serious as his, 'cos this guy's dead.

Finally bought The Last Don. That's my next project after I finish Gotti: Rise and Fall . It's strange: I always enjoyed good gangster flicks, but never really got into reading gangster stuff until you guys corrupted me!

Fools Die is worth checking out Michael, it's one of my favourites by Puzo.

Read Godfather, then Sicilian, then Last Don, then Omerta. I've read those.

Try The Family and Fools Die.

Non-Puzo Novels...try Boss of Bosses: Paul Castellano, Bound By Honor by Bill Bonanno, Wiseguys by Nick Pileggi, and Casino by Nick Pileggi.

I had just finished reading Omerta. I definitely recommend this to Puzo/Mafia fans. Full of action/twists, clever story, memorable characters, insightful morals and so realistic/updated. Guess I have to look for The Last Don to finish complete the trilogy (not in order though, lol)

"Life is so beatiful" - Don Vito in The Godfather novel
"My name is Michael Corleone...There are people who'd pay a lot of money for that information" - The Godfather
