i havent been on in a while and i noticed that i didnt see a superman topic....but anyways...who seen it? who loved it? who hated it? i for one loved it....except for one fact...i had to wait 3 hrs and i still only got a mediocre seat! lol i also got shafted cuz i thought i was buyin a ticket for the imax 3d one buuuuuut i definitely bought the wrong one....one question....who saw the imax one? what part(s) were in 3d...i heard that only 20 min were in 3d....btw...great acting, great storyline, stayed true to the original, and the only complaint that i have is that the people from smallville werent in it....and for some reason i think wynona ryder shoulda played lois lane!

Me and other AV writers are seeing it today, so expect maybe my verdict later tonight, followed by the others maybe.

All I know, is that with a summer of M:I 3 failing the assignment, THE DA VINCI CODE being too easy and lame that got cracked, X3 getting declawed, and CARS wrecking...I hope SUPERMAN RETURNS is good, but I won't lie if it sucks.

Superhero movies are just going to that place they talked about in the Bible. Not Hell, just a big ugly spiraling storm on a mountain, to mark the decline of civilization.

I've never been a Superman fan, at that; I'm just going for Kevin Spacey.

"Somebody told me when the bomb hits, everybody in a two mile radius will be instantly sublimated, but if you lay face down on the ground for some time, avoiding the residual ripples of heat, you might survive, permanently fucked up and twisted like you're always underwater refracted. But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."

No, BAD Comic book movies will do that for us. See, DAREDEVIL, FANTASTIC FOUR, and X3 are trail blazers!

Seriously, I saw X-Men 3 yesterday. Wow. I didn't realize levels of suckiness were that possible.

I was wrong.

X3 had some of the FUNNIEST dialouge I've ever heard; it was just so god damn awful! I was laughing aloud in the theater...

"When you try to keep the beast in its cage, the beast gets angry."

Yet you criticize superhero pictures.

Can one have it both ways?

Ask Jesus.

Well, SUPERMAN RETURNS is the first decent movie of the summer, and hell alot more interesting than X3 (along with that "I'm Juggernaut, bitch!" nonsense)...but its flawed.

Interestingly, a nice if nothing special melodrama chick flick.

Hopefully the sequel will be better....

I kept saying to myself 'what crap!" throughout the movie. I don't compare it with other super hero movies, because I haven't many. But this must be one of the worst I guess, except for Kevin Spacey's great performance. It did provide some un-intentional laughs
