I only heard good things about House of 1000 Corpse/The Devil's Rejects seeing as they wer throwbacks to old 70's horror films.

Zombie would do a remake of Halloween very well.

Not Halloween related, but did anybody see Rob Zombie do a killer version of God of Thunder on VH-1 last week? Zombie sounded like he was born to sing that song. He played live alongside Slash, Ace Frehley, Tommy Lee, and Scott Ian in a tribute to Kiss. It was the special that also celebrated Def Leppard, Judas Priest, and Queen.

Is John Carpenter or Debra Hill involved at all?

Can't comment on his music or movies, but I love the job he did directing Ozzy Osbourne's "Dreamer" video.

It was fantastic. It was also great to see Ace in good health and spirits.

As a director, and I only have House of a 1000 Corpses to go by, he's actually pretty good. Though he loses points by having his missus in his films. She's incredibly hot but a terrible actor.

Ozzy's Dreamer music video was the most depressing thing I've ever seen.

You should've reworded that since it gives off a negative opinion about it.

I love the blue-ish tinted woods with Ozzy and the black dressed ballerinas. Haunting.

Oh yeah, it was definitely a great video.

Now HOUSE OF 1,000 CORPSES is a film that definately should someone that had crazy-ass ambition, and the balls to NOT pussy-foot, though for some editing and shots, he wasn't so successful. However, that one great tracking shot that milks the time for which we expect the baddie to blow the sherrif's brains out.....you think any other "horror" director in Hollywood today would do such a thing inbetween the CGI, MTV-ADD editing, etc.?

Now THE DEVIL'S REJECTS was more fulfilling of what Zombie wanted with CORPSES, as in a well-made B-garbage exploitation picture. Zombie learned from his self-admitted mistakes of wasting too much money and time on the first-go around to make a $7 million movie to look like a $35 million sucker.
