According to IGN these are the 10 best comic book movie villians. Agree? Disagree? 10) Mystique Thanks largely to Rebecca Romijn's bare blue, uh, assets, the mutant shapeshifter Mystique captured audience's fancy from her very first scene in X-Men. X2: X-Men United gave Mystique more depth and she became more than just Magneto's henchwoman. Her scene with Nightcrawler where she advised him that mutants shouldn't have to hide who they are was one of the most poignant moments in the series. Ultimately, it's Mystique's eerie beauty and her martial arts prowess that have made her a top supervillainess onscreen. 9) Yellow Bastard The deformed and deranged Yellow Bastard (portrayed by Nick Stahl) was one of the most colorful rogues, if you will, in the black & white neo-Noir Sin City. In making our top ten list, Yellow Bastard – the pedophile son of a senator (Powers Boothe) – beat out the film's other noteworthy heavies, such as Elijah Wood's bespectacled Kevin and Benicio Del Toro's dirty cop Jackie Boy. Yellow Bastard's demise at the hands of the burnt-out Hartigan (played by Bruce Willis) made for a particularly, um, ballsy scene. 8) Deacon Frost As the old adage says, a hero is only as good as his villain and that is true here. The first Blade – deemed by many fans as the best in the series – features Stephen Dorff as Deacon Frost, who desires vampire domination over humanity and seeks to resurrect an ancient vampire god in order to bring about a final victory. The movie's youthful Frost is a far cry from his comic book counterpart but Dorff's nihilistic, sneering, rock star-like vampire lord is a perfect foil for his no-nonsense "daywalker" adversary Blade (Wesley Snipes). 7) Ducard, a.k.a. Ra's al Ghul Yeah, I've let the cat (or is that bat?) out of the bag. Arguably the least flamboyant villain on this list, Ducard/Ra's al Ghul (Liam Neeson) is more than just the villain of Batman Begins. He is also Bruce Wayne's (Christian Bale) mentor and surrogate father figure, without whom there would be no Dark Knight. While this Ra's lacked his more comic booky qualities, he was also humanized; it's precisely because he's portrayed with shades of grey rather than black & white that he's such an effective nemesis. 6) Magneto Articulating the opposing philosophy to Professor X's (Patrick Stewart) policy of tolerance, Erik Lensherr/Magneto (Sir Ian McKellen) is the biggest, baddest mutant around and leader of the X-Men's rival Brotherhood of Mutants. A victim of the Holocaust, Magneto's mission is to eradicate homo sapiens before they can do the same to mutants. Magneto might have risen further up this list if his actions in the X-Men films spoke louder than his words (he's prone to making speeches). It also wouldn't hurt if he got himself a cooler helmet. 5) Catwoman More femme fatale and good-bad girl than outright supervillain, the Selina Kyle/Catwoman (Michelle Pfeiffer) of Batman Returns is still the best female lead, good or bad, in a comic book movie to date. As Selina, she is goofy and vulnerable, falling prey to her wicked boss Max Shreck (Christopher Walken). Reborn as Catwoman, she is both seductive and vengeful, targeting all the evil males who have victimized her. Her sexually charged tussles with Batman (Michael Keaton) remain kinky and kooky nearly 15 years later. 4) Doctor Octopus A far more effective villain than the unfortunately clad Green Goblin, Dr. Otto Octavius (Alfred Molina) begins Spider-Man 2 as a good man and mentor to Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) before a lab accident transforms him into the twisted Doc Ock. Thanks to the mechanical tentacles fused to his body, Doc Ock is one of the most visually dynamic villains to have ever graced a comic book movie, but it is his redemption (in a touching death scene) that makes Molina's Otto Octavius such a compelling character.

3) Lex Luthor Gene Hackman's glib turn as wheeler dealer Lex Luthor, "the greatest criminal mind of our time," was one of the highlights of Richard Donner's hugely enjoyable Superman: The Movie. Luthor's grand scheme to sink California with a stolen nuke in order to boost the value of his real estate holdings remains one of the dopiest yet memorable supervillain plots of all time. Hackman later reprised his role as Luthor in Superman II and the forgettable Superman IV: The Quest for Peace. 2) The Joker Said to be one of Jack Nicholson's personal favorites of all his screen performances, the Clown Prince of Crime starts off 1989's blockbuster Batman as dapper gangster Jack Napier before an industrial accident transforms him into the Dark Knight's arch-nemesis. Reborn with a permanent grin and a taste for Prince songs, The Joker sets out to become "the world's first fully functioning homicidal artist." Nicholson's Joker proved a little too over-the-top, simply steamrolling over Michael Keaton's brooding title character. 1) General Zod The least campy of all big-screen supervillains, Terence Stamp's General Zod made a brief but memorable appearance in 1978's Superman: The Movie before becoming the main baddie in Superman II. He has an unbridled ego, a low-key but maniacal demeanor and a very personal agenda for targeting Superman. What makes Zod the best screen supervillain, however, is that, whereas The Joker poisoned cosmetics and Lex Luthor loved real estate, Zod and his Kryptonian cohorts Ursa and Non actually conquered the world.

Well, "Movie" Comic Book Villains, I'm sorry but thats like fishing out of a barrell. What the fuck else is there? Besides, these 10 are pretty much the only ones worth a shit.
Now the 10 best Comic Book Villains in total, I would fucking love to read a list of that!
My improv list, without rankings, and with adversarial hero:
THE JOKER (Batman) LEX LUTHOR (Superman) RED SKULL (Captain America) DOCTOR DOOM (Fantastic Four) *SINISTER SIX (Spider-Man) MAGNETO (X-Men) CATWOMAN (Batman) LEGION OF DOOM (Justice League of America) GALACTUS (Fantastic Four/Silver Surfer) KINGPIN (Spider-Man/Punisher/Daredevil)
*"Sinister Six" includes Doctor Octopus, Electro, Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio, The Sandman, The Vulture, Hobgoblin (Jason Macendale), and of course Venom!
