Not that you were neccesarily counting, but list all the movies you feel like you've probably seen more than 25 times in full.

For me...

American Pie (I used to count when I was younger, I've probably seen this movie somewhere around 60 times)
Goodfellas (Used to watch this every friday after school)
Donnie Brasco
Clueless

I'm sure this list will build as I get older. Im probably nearing the 20 count for GF I and II.

I dream in widescreen.

I don't see my films a whole lotta times. I've probably seen The Godfather 6-7 times, The Godfather, Part II 8 times, and The Godfather, Part III 3 times.

The only two films I can truthfully say I've seen over 25 times are The Mask and Dumb and Dumber and MAYBE The Blues Brothers.

Hey, how's it going?

25 times?!?! I could never watch one film that many times.

I'm not sure if this is accurate, but I think I've seen The Godfather 5 times, which is by far the most for me.

Wow, I don't know if I've seen any movie 25 times, but the ones that probably come closest are The Blues Brothers and The Godfather.

It's replay value is amazing. I highly recommend it. The sights, the sounds, it's in a word: awesome.

Oh, and A Christmas Story I've seen alot too. Probably like 23-24 times. Another one with great replay value.

No doubt about it. It's a lot like the Godfather where, no matter how many times you watch it, it never gets old - in fact, it gets better. I always catch new things I'd never before noticed, and each viewing gives me a further appreciation of it.

Kind of surprised by those.
I like Part III.

Father Goose is a good comedy, with Cary Grant and Leslie Caron.

Ghostbusters II isn't as good as the original, but as a kid, I loved the Ghostbusters, so I'd watch them over and over.

Yes, as a Star Wars maniac, I've seen the new movies many times, though I've only watched Episode III maybe four or five times (including the theatre). I still don't think it is as good as it could have been...I was expecting more.

A Hard Days Night is the penultimate Beatles film, with the exception of the Anthology.

Team America: World Police is one of my favorite movies, I love it. Besides, I'm "ronery."

Barbershop, likewise, is another favorite. Any movie that you can quote saying "Fuck Jesse Jackson!" has to be in my movie collection. :p

Cool Runnings might not be a cinematic masterpiece, but I saw it when I was a kid, and liked it. Plus, I'm a John Candy mark.

Pride of the Yankees is required viewing for any Yankee fan, let alone anyone who is a fan of the game.

Sergeant York is another excellent Gary Cooper movie, which is badly in need of a DVD release. Unfortunately, I'm still watching it on an old VHS copy I taped off of AMC (back when AMC was, you know, good).

In my opinion, it is the greatest comedy of all time. It combines the excellent performances of Belushi and Aykroyd, along with arguably one of the best musical scores for a movie ever.

Maybe Paths of Glory.

Many others 10-20 times, but I don't think 25.

If I find a movie I think is moderately good, I usually watch it at least 5 times.

Better than good? Ten... maybe twenty.

Great? 30. Easily.

Masterpiece? Well over 100.

So, yeah, It's hard for me to answer this; My list would be a fucking monster. I think some movies I could watch numberous times without growing bored would be Fight Club, which I can account to having seen at least 400 times in my life, and then Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, which would probably total around... 150-200. There are others I could go on watching over and over, but I could spend a week watching these two movies alone several times a day, and not grow bored. I tend to devote large periods of time to one film, and then throw in a new movie--in which I've never seen before--in between viewings of that one consistent film.

"Somebody told me when the bomb hits, everybody in a two mile radius will be instantly sublimated, but if you lay face down on the ground for some time, avoiding the residual ripples of heat, you might survive, permanently fucked up and twisted like you're always underwater refracted. But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."

There are definitely more, but I'm too stressed to think about it now.

Kind of surprised by those.
I like Part III.

I like Part III too, but I still don't know if I'd ever get around to actually watching it 25 times over. I've seen it maybe 5 or 6 times since I first viewed the trilogy.

As well as her daughter, Andrew.

And even though he'll only watch the car chase scenes and a few musical performances, I guess you can count my toddler cousin. He loves it, so I can't wait to see how much he enjoys the whole movie when he gets older and understands it better. Only thing is, he's afraid of the Penguin.

1. "Yankee Doodle Dandy" - I had measles as a kid and was bedridden for a week. Back then, long before vcr's, there was a tv station that used to play the same movie up to 16 times in one week and I didn't miss one airing of this great musical with James Cagney.

2. "King Kong" (1933) - Over the last 48 years, or so, I've probably seen this classic one hundred times.

3. "Field of Dreams" - I watch this whenever I'm in a sentimental mood.

4. "Casablanca" - The best love story ever filmed.

5. "The Godfather" - It took me about 34 years but I've probably watched it 25 times (and still love it).

6. "The Thing" (1951) - I watch it every year when it first turns cold (this is the perfect movie to watch on a cold, stormy night).

7. "Sleepless in Seattle" - When I first discovered this after my wife died I related very strongly to it and watched it almost continually for a period. I haven't watched it in awhile.

8. "Mighty Joe Young" (1949) - As a kid this was a mainstay around the holidays. The fx aren't as good as the re-make but this version is much more lovable.

I envy you, man.

I'm lucky if I find time to watch a movie once every 4 or 5 days. It's become like a big-to-do to actually get myself to sit and watch a whole movie. I don't know whether to be happy because I'm at least keeping myself occupied with other stuff, or angry because I NEVER get to watch movies.

True.

The sad thing is that he goes to a school where nuns teach him, so I can't imagine what he thinks of them now. We always have to skip over her scenes when he's over.

Tomorrow, I'm having the people over to watch BB, and he's supposed to be here, too - it'll be interesting to see who prevails in deciding what is watched.

I've not even watched The Godfather 25 times. The only movie that makes this list for me is Amadeus.
