spike tv is doing 'pure pacino' for the month of october. www.spiketv.com links you to the pure pacino web page where I found a very interesting picture. For 'The Godfather II' picture, they show michael with a shotgun in that infamous deleted scene. Actually, the first thing you see during the advertisement is the shotgun scene. Anyways, for those have not seen the picture, its worth the view.

I believe it's when Michael personally 'takes care' of Fabrizzio, Apollonia's murderer.

and its going to be included in the showing?

I never saw that scene, so they taped 2 different ways of killing Fabrazzio and didnt run with either?

I MAY be mistaken, but I think that scene with Mike in the white hat was filmed for Part I (and never used). The lupara was supposed to be the same one which Fabrizzio used to guard Mike when he was in Sicily.

Back in the early 70's that picture of Mike was one of the biggest selling posters around.

They use a pic from Part 2 to represent Part 3, and a deleated scene from Part 1 to represent Part 2 confused Would rather see something other than GF3 be listed as a "classic"

Footage of that lupara scene exists, but it was never included in any version of the Trilogy, nor in any collection of deleted scenes. What I wouldn't give to see it!

Supposed in the future Paramount would release the complete version of all with deleted scene altogether (I bet they would release for our money cool ), I wonder how this particular scene would fit for the story. Fabrizio murder twice?
I can't decide which way I prefer Michael to murder Fabrizio, but I know that I want Fabrizio to die twice for the thing he did ...
But personally, of course I am dying to see this scene. May be Paramount decided Fabrizio to get killed of car bomb (more link to Appolonia), and put this lupara scene as bonus (not in story line)

I think they filmed the lupara scene in Part 1, then lost the footage, so thats why they filmed a second Fabrizzio death scene.Only guessing confused
