The first official trailer has been released for Season 7. All I have to say is HOLY SHIT! \:o

24: Season 7 preview

"Growing up my dad was like 'You have a great last name, Galifianakis. Galifianakis...begins with a gal...and ends with a kiss...' I'm like that's great dad, can we get it changed to 'Galifianafuck' please?" -- Zach Galifianakis

It's a damn shame that the Writer's Strike has also affected the season premiere of 24. From what I understand, there were a handful of episodes filmed before the strike began, but the producers will only air all 24 episodes when they can do it un-interrupted.

I can understand that, but it still sucks.

I believe that Sutherland's having to serve some time in jail has also added to the setback of the start of this season.

I love this show! clap

Some real twists and turns, the action is spectacular. The revelations and cliffhangers always make me on edge with excitement, and make me come back for more. The more you watch it, the more you like and sympathese for the characters.
The deaths of President David Palmer and Michelle Dessler shocked me, but I was really saddened at Edgars death, when he came back after lockdown, and saw that they were locked in the room, I knew he was gonna die. cry
And when "villain" Lynn McGill died after doing his heroic part, it also made me sad. cry

I was appalled at Curtis's death by Jack shooting him, plus when Nadia's "boyfriend", Eric gets shot! WOW!! eek

This show is sooooo good, I can't wait for Series 7 - and Tony Almaeda!!!! eek

I believe next January.

Between the Writer's strike and Keifer's brush with the law, it's been delayed for a year.

There's so much action in it! smile

I have seen nearly all of 24, and hope it contiues to be as good. I liked 24 Redemption too

Anyone else think its good?

Hi Grace and welcome! smile

I love 24. However, I still need to see seasn 6 (I keep saying I'll rent it, but haven't yet). I was hooked immediately. Great show.

This show sounds very intriguing. I've been meaning to start with season one, so maybe I'll get to that soon.

The first eight episodes or so of season 1 are incredibly good. It dips a bit after that; it becomes too prone to what makes network television so annoying - for a film all about time (in its initial premise), it's become less and less creative in its handling of commercial breaks (and the cliffhangers that come with them) and it's become easier to spot its narrative patterns. It's not difficult to see who's going to turn traitor or be killed off before either happens.

I've only watched the 2 hours from Sunday, I have Mondays on DVR but haven't been able to watch it yet.

Looks like we have another awesome season of 24 coming up.

So far so good. Something tells me that this show will once again have a real interesting twist when all is said and done.

As DC knows, I'm a HUGE fan of this show. The first 5 episodes this season have all been good. It's great seeing Tony back...even if the story behind his fake death is KINDA stretching it.

Season 1 was absolutely the best. If you're looking for some answers to what's been left open, I highly recommend that you do two things :

1) You order and read 24: The House Special Subcommittee's Findings at CTU. ( you can order it at Amazon by using the link to Amazon on these boards)

2) After reading the book you watch 24 season 2.

I got season 2 for Easter. I'll start on it pretty soon.

Season 2 was the first season I ever saw, so I knew certain things would happen in season 1, but it was still great. It's been so long since I saw season 2 I don't remember that much about it.

Get the book Longneck. It provides a lot of insight into Jack, the characters, Jack's indirect tie to then Senator Palmer and The Drazens! A fast and quick read.

How about a series titled "23"? It's about one or more government agents et al who almost stop terrorist attacks.
