At the Film board, we started posting a list of films we own, but haven't seen.

Say if I'd be interested in your opinion on Le Samourai. You watch it if I watch a film of your choice from my list. This is a nice way for more motivated film viewing. I'm going to watch Martin Scorsese's New York, New York tomorrow, and in turn Capo will watch Michael Mann's Thief.

Here's a list of films I own but haven't seen. Note that some of these like Be Cool were bought by other family members. So if you guys wanna try this, post your list of films you haven't seen.

People I Know
Blazing Saddles
Wise Guys
Red Eye
Cinderella Man
Opening Night
A Constant Forge
The Game
The Quiet Man
How the West Was Won
Grapes of Wrath

A Few Good Men (saw most of it, but it's been too long and I need to see all of it)

Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil
The Royal Tenenbaums

Many of these were actually old ones. Guilty by Suspicion has been sitting on my shelf for about three years now.

well, i don't have quite as many DVDs/movies that i haven't gotten around to watching as DV has, maybe about half as much - but i understand how you can accumulate that many after a while. if you see a movie or two or even three in a package deal or in a sales bin for ten bucks that you're semi-interested in, & you buy it but don't get around to watching it, they build up. & between holidays & gifts, etc., it adds up to even more after a couple years.

Yeah, and every now and then you get a good movie. I thought I was getting a B-movie when I bought Dinner Rush at Wal-Mart's bin, and I was pleasantly surprised.
