Thanks Irish.

Since I never was a SUPERMAN comics fan as a kid, I could care less. Then again, I quite enjoyed Bryan Singer's X-MEN features films, so who knows.

Of course, my anticipated movie(for now) film of summer 2006 isn't SUPERMAN...its Michael Mann's MIAMI VICE. Sure oddly for a Miami-native like me, I never cared for the TV show.

However, Mann has become easily one of the best filmmakers America has to offer to the world of cinema. From re-inventing himself as an autuer filmmaker with LAST OF THE MOHICANS in 1992, then of course his crime masterpiece HEAT in 1995, followed by easily his best damn movie of his career with THE INSIDER. Of course, ALI was flawed, but many moments of pure technical brilliance on the part of Mann. Last year's outstanding visual-dualist film COLLATERAL proved to many that indeed...He is The Mann( :p )

Again, I know one of the people at the LATINO REVIEW website that read Mann's script for MIAMI VICE, and indeed...everyone that has reviewed it(including IGN FILM FORCE's own Staxx) think that its a pretty damn good/great cop movie. We'll see next year.

I was never in the Miami Vice show either so I'm more than likely not even going to see this movie. One of my most anticipated movies for next year is V for Vendetta

Is it just me, or does Supes look really tiny? It looks like he has no physique?
I will watch the movie though.
