I know, I know, every respectable poster here has already seen and loved this movie. I am going to watch it for the FIRST time now. you all who know how great this film is must know how excited I am. the hype is just too fuckin' huge, and I still expext it to be even better than anything I can think of. in a few hours I'll give my two cents about this masterpiece.

Although it's a little late of me, you should see it thinking of it as a character study. It's one of the best ever, Scorsese's second best to me. A masterpiece. I can't explain the amount of respect I give Scorsese for this film alone.

the truth is that I didn't really watch the film. I got home after a party and found out the download was completed, so I got so excited that I forced myself to watch it at 7 AM when all I needed was to sleep. well Don Vercetti, you can be sure I see it as a carachter study too I did see it, but I could't even make a reasonable review of it if I needed to. anyway, I'll watch it again and again now that I have it on my pc. I'm sure I'll like it better when I get the chance to watch it sober :p

after watching it two more times I changed my mind about it. I even got to agree with some imdb poster who said Travis was naive by trying to wash the scum off the streets by killing 2 gangsters and 1 pimp, but I absolutely changed my mind. I wouldn't say it joined my personal top 5, but it is definitely one of the deepest, interesting films I've seen. the kinda movie that you can spend a whole day thinking of it.
