You MAY want to consider mentioning which program you're talking about next time.... :p But I suppose you're talking about Star Wars.

I'm gonna wait 'til next week probably, cuz after waiting like 25+ years, I can wait a week longer.

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

It was alright, pretty good to top it all off. The Vader transition didn't seem to awkward too which I was most worried about.

But I had to put up with some fucking geeks in my cinema. Ok there was only about 20 people in their because it was a staff showing I saw but they were still annoying. They cheered from appearances from Chewbacca and that and finally topped it off by clapping at the end of the film. Absolute dorks.

********SPOILER*********

I would have changed the last two scenes and ended with Vadar looking out onto the Deathstar rather than Luke being delivered to (is it?) Tattooine.

I found it a tad unrealistic that she "knew" immediately what names to give the kids when they popped out...I mean, granted, most people have an idea, but she didn't know she was having twins and it was like the kid pops out and she's like "Luke!" and then "Leia!"

I wish for Luke she would've said, "Rick James, bitch!"

I hated the geeks when I went to see Episodes I and II. Who claps at a movie? Especially at random moments within the movie.

They've been showing the nerds who are dressed as characters while waiting in line on the news all week. I wonder how much a stormtrooper or Vader suit cost. It can't be cheap, and yet there are dozens of Vaders out there and hundred of storm troopers. I guess that's dedication for you.

I disagree. Seein it with all the nerds made it a great experience. At least half of the theatre was dressed up as different characters and nearly everyone had fake lightsabers. Right before the movie started, these two kids started battling in front of the screen and the whole theatre just started cheering them on. One guy even yelled, "Use the Schwartz!!"

I can hardly wait to see it. But if I see any dorks there -- especially if they're dressed up -- I'm whoopin' their ass!
(Unless, of course, it's some hottie in the famous Princess Leia "wire bikini" ).

BTW, following is a link to a funny parody of SW-ROTS:

Star Wars III: A Lost Hope

If you've got broadband, it downloads fairly quickly, but if you've got dial-up, fuggedaboutit. It's kind of long, but funny.

I saw the movie last night and it was the best out of ALL six! It was a masterpiece!

Lol there is nothing like seeing it at the midnight showing. Everyone dressed up in costume, carrying light sabres and cheering throughout the movie. I thought the movie was quite good, and seeing it with all the nerds made it even better .

I saw this movie Thursday night and it was freakin awsome. Though there was the occasional nerd herd clapping for the 5 seconds that Choobacca was in the movie. Overall, if anything, it was the best over episodes 1 & 2. Lucas really went all out with the effects-not to mention killing jedi younglings(funny but shocking).

I thought the killing of the younglings was very disturbing.

An amazing film. Definetely makes "making" the first trilogy years later worth it. I'm not the biggest fan of the first two prequels. In fact, I used to be the biggest star wars nerd around until they came along. They did not have what I called at the time "Galactic Charm" :p , an important element with the original trilogy. It was that sense of "wow" and adventure and awe that I lost.

With this film, you get that back. Far superior to the first 2, it's amazing. I feel like I can call it a "Star Wars film". It has emotions and a scale like the old ones. It is not as good as the original trilogy, but it is closer than any of the other new ones. This was a perfect way to close the saga. Nice work on this one, Lucas!

Spoilers ahead

Fantastic stuff. Enthralling, engrossing, superbly realised and not a minute of boredom. The blue vs blue lightsabre showdown, with the red lava in the background, was extraordinary. I found it funny in places too: the fact they went over the top with Yoda's inverted syntax, and when he used the Force on Palpatine's red guards was brilliant. I expected good things, and got better. I certainly wasn't disappointed. Music, editing, special effects; all wonderful.

McGregor is a brilliant actor, and as Obi-wan he gave the film some real nice comic relief and genuine compassion (though I couldn't help but laugh at the term "younglings" - "He killed the younglings!"). Christensen worried me as Anakin, but he pulled it off admiringly.

My favourite scene? Not sure; I loved Palpatine's facial change when he offs Windu into oblivion. But I loved the shot of Anakin and Padme crying together in different places.

The best since Empire Strikes Back.

George Lucas needs to learn how to write dialouge. Some of it was horrible. Especially the love scenes. My only real complaint.
