Finally, the day we've all been waiting for. I don't know about you guys, but I think Family Guy is the best thing to happen to television in the last ten (maybe 20) years. Genius, utterly and completely hysterical comedy. I love that they'll make fun of anything and everything. Nothing is sacred!!

Anyone else as excited about this as I am?

I already downloaded the episode and saw it. Effin hilarious. Family Guy is the funniest show ever, and nothing else even comes close.

You have to be kidding me! That was a pretty darn good episode!

"Look, I'm a booger!"

"And Knowing is Half the Battle!"(come on, who didn't laugh at that joke?)

I downloaded it a while ago and watched it. I thought it was one of the funniest I have ever seen. The comic book thing nearly killed me. ("You can't eat all those hamburgers you silly man").

Too bad American Dad ruined it. That show is just not funny.

And you liar, teller of tall tales: you trample all the Lord's commandments underfoot, you murder, steal, commit adultery, and afterward break into tears, beat your breast, take down your guitar and turn sin into a song. Shrewd devil, you know very well that God pardons singers no matter what they do, because he can simply die for a song.

Family Guy is the best show ever. The black guy at the end was great. He was in another episode where he was the weather man and just said "Its gunna rain!" me and my friend watched it on the DVD this weekend. its so funny. and when Washington called Lincon, frankinstin. And Peter as a moose all great stuff.

It's on in 20 minutes for me. I'm Tivo-ing it and watching it later on, though.. so I can forward the commercials.

No, thank you.
Although you can't really spoil a Family Guy for someone... because even if you tell someone the whole plot and all the jokes of an episode, it's still 100 times funnier when you actually watch it. That's the genius of Seth MacFarlane.

It was pretty funny. I liked how the writers just did so many topics b/c you tell they were itching to cover ground in the time they've been off the air.

The "Passion Part II" was soooooo wrong though!

I liked all the listing Peter gave of all the shows that tanked during "Family Guy's" absence. And Stuey was, as usual, side-splittingly funny.

Actually, the segment that I was surprised that FOX(and the FCC) let go into the wild was that skit about ole Peter when he was with his old family in California:

*Breaks in to meet Charles Manson's family*

"Hey guys, I got us into a party at Sharon Tate's home. Try not to be messy, 'kay?"

I mean damn. Seth McFarlane better hope that Roman Polanski never watches that episode.....

I really doubt Polanski can really do anything about it at this point, if you know what I mean. I mean, he's not exactly on the "influential citizens" list at the town hall. :p

Anyway, you guys were right, it was hilarious!! I'm so glad it's back... I used to watch it on Adult Swim even though I have the DVDs, so I'd watch both. As funny as it is, over and over again, it's a hell of a lot better to see fresh material. It's good to see MacFarlane hasn't lost his touch-- if anything, he's gotten better!

It's so great that it's back; I really didn't care for American Dad though. Blah.

I downloaded it about a week ago, but it was good to finally see it back on a TV again.

Let's just hope they don't get played out, like so many previously funny shows. (But I don't see the show ever getting old)

"Somebody told me when the bomb hits, everybody in a two mile radius will be instantly sublimated, but if you lay face down on the ground for some time, avoiding the residual ripples of heat, you might survive, permanently fucked up and twisted like you're always underwater refracted. But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."
