As you may or may not have noticed, I have not been posting these last few days. This was because I was in a mild state of delerium over the panic which set in trying to get these tickets! BUT I GOT EM!

Paul McCartney
The Palace of Auburn Hills
Lower Level Section 124, Row C
Oct. 19th, 2005

I'm going crazy with happiness. I'm on the lower level on the curve which goes from the back to the side. The staduim is an oval, so I hope you know what this means.

I am a member of paulmccartney.com, which is how I was able to get these good tickets in such a fast way. Today was the pre-sale, and I used my special password to get my tickets. The real sale starts Monday. He's touring all over the US so get your tickets fast on Monday. They tend to sell out in 15 min. I paid 140 for my ticket, but they go up to 250. I'm so grateful I got these tickets!!! YES! I'm going to see a FREAKING BEATLE!!!! WOOOHOOO.

Anybody else plan on going? Double J?

I would have gone in 2002 but the tickets sold out so fast and they were almost all $250 then.

Good luck if you're going to get tickets!!

I caught his last tour about a year or so ago and it was good, but enough already. Absence should make the heart grow fonder. Paul should tour once every three or four years or he will become just another act...on the other hand he has always loved the road so....

Wow! That sounds like a great show. I'm sure he puts on a great performance. You should have a great time.

Post some pics if you can.

Well you make sense DonTom, but really, arguably one of the influential "Lords" of Rock...what rock fan in their right mind will miss him? Do I need to squeeze out the idea of "once in a lifetime"?

Paul only comes around once every 3-4 years. And his tickets are bizzarely high, for a billionare, so since I was a pennyless chump last time around and could not foot the bill of 250, I thought the least I could do was the 140 this time around. Just to watch Let It Be played live might cause my body to implode leaving a horrible mess of cellular tissue in my seat.

Here's to Paul, I can't wait.

Is anyone else going though?

Sounds great DF! I'd love to see McCartney. If he's touring throughout the states he's bound to hit CA I would think. Sounds like you got a good deal on the price. I think they would be way higher here for some reason.

Of course I don't have to remind you to let us know all about it when you return. :p \

I found this link. He will be in CA on Nov. 11th, at the Arrowhead Pond, which I've never been to, but hear it is very nice. Tickets are not on sale yet though.

I have not seen him before. His last tour here was 250 a ticket and they sold out so fast. I missed it. So now I dished it out for the good seats.

TIS,
Yeah, they don't go on sale to the public until Monday, I got my good tickets in a pre-sale because I am a registered member at paulmccartney.com I really, really suggest you go. He's going to the Staples Center right? Go online and buy the tickets as soon as they are available at 10:00 on the dot, or you wont get any. Paul is notorious for selling out in a matter of MIN! I hope you go and enjoy it.

Im going to flip when I see him. My parents used to play Beatles albums when I was a baby in my room. They had a record player and everything in my room. I grew up with the Fab Four and now finally, I get to see a BEATLE!

Paul Mccartney's coming to Sacramento on November 6th. I need to tell my dad so I can have someone to go with. And I cannot pay for tickets myself.

I want to know the set list. When he did his Back in the US Tour in 2002, he had SOOOOOO many of the hits on it. I'm worried he might feel compelled to do other songs now. If I don't hear some Beatles classics and Wings greats, I'm gonna die. He's releasing a new album to go with the tour too. SO he's going to be playing a lot of those too. God I hope he sticks with his classics.

Allright, I got my tix today. I too hopes he does more of his classics like with the one tour he did in 2002. And if he resorts to anything from his upcoming solo album, it better be better than the mediocre Driving Rain.
