My dad read on some BB that he's on that cellphone numbers will soon be added to telemarketer lists. I'm not sure what BB it is so I can't see for myself.

Maybe someone here can shed some light on this.

Either way you can go to http://www.donotcall.gov to register your cellphone number as well. It only takes about 5 minutes if that.

I just though I'd post this in case some people here weren't aware of this.

I registered with the "No Call" list a while back, and even though I heard, at least at first, that they wouldn't go to cell phones, I registered that as well.

I haven't had hardly any telemarketing calls. If I do get one, I tell them I'm registered and ask them not to call again. It's been good so far.

There was a thread on this awhile back, and it was stated on the news that this is untrue. Telemarketers cannot call your cell phone.

I registered, but I still get them...even at odd times like Sunday afternoon. I have taken to using the tactic devised by George Carlin. When they ask to speak to you (or your spouse or whatever) simply say "hang on a second, and then leave the phone off the hook for a verrrry long time.

"Io sono stanco, sono imbigliato, and I wan't everyone here to know, there ain't gonna be no trouble from me..Don Corleone..Cicc' a port!"
