...Benjamin McKenzie..I heard this on the Tv the other night...I don't watch the OC tv series which he stars in as Ryan Atwood, he is said to have the stare and the same look as Brando...In my opinion there will never be another Marlon Brando...or anyone even close...

...what you think??

He has an oblivious stare but definately not Brando in acting.

This is funny. In Jean-Luc Godard and Jean-Pierre Gorin's companion piece to Tout Va Bien, Letter to Jane, they analyze a picture of Jane Fonda (below) speaking to Vietnamese citizens. They discuss the look Fonda has on her face, and says it is one to give the appearance of thinking, or even caring. They show photos of other people, including Marlon Brando, and refer to them all as "motherfuckers."

I'm not sure if he's an especially good actor, but he's really cute on the OC

There are 4 actors I can think of off the top of my head that have perfected the "Brando stare":

1) Al Pacino

2) Robert De Niro

3) Jack Nicholson

4) Johnny Depp

This yahoo from The OC? Puh-leeeeeeze! He looks confused, not cold and calculating.

Like many people have stated there will be never another Brando. When people come on to the scene they compare them to other actors of a differant era.I think alot of it is for publicity and to give the actor a ego

I really don't know if it's possible to have "another" Brando. Just as another James Dean, or another Elvis.

However, IMHO a couple that to me seem to have some of the attributes to become performers at the same calibur as Brando, Johnny Depp and Edward Norton & Sean Penn. I'm sure there are a few more that I am not thinking of right now.

Whether or not their talents are noticed, and they "take hold" is up for debate I suppose.

ROTFLMAO!!!

Poor boy, why do they want to distroy him comparing him with a Myth like Brando? The only thing he got in common with the Myth is the sweat soaked T-shirt, I believe!

Plus, I believe he poses like James Dean rather than Brando. Nevertheless, he is a good young actor. OC is the only serial I can bear watching without missing Dallas & Dinasty all the time!
