Hey, I recently (don't ask me where) found a script about a meeting between Tony Montagna (from Scarface) and Micheal Corleone. Feel free to post any comments.

lol. "..But Michael Corleone is going to introduce the pleasures of real fine Italian sausage to Miami..." i love all the fbombs. a little over exageratted but then again nothing is too exagerated when it comes to tony. tony and michael in the same room if only it were possible to clone al pacino wink

Michael Corleone: My father made him an offer he couldn't refuse.
Kay Adams: What was that?
Michael Corleone: Luca Brasi, held a gun to his head, and my father assured him, that either his brain or his signature would be on the contract.

I'd pay 500 bucks to see Pacino do it live in a solo style, cycling between the two characters.

Yea, I'd like to see Pacino do both characters as well. He'd be great I'm sure. smile

However, I can't see the "characters" of MC and TM connecting at all. Two totally different kinds of criminals. MC had more "class" (if it's even possible for criminals to have class), than Tony Montana. Now who would be the one to "whack" the other first? That might be interesting. wink

It's my guess that if this scenario were believeable, MC would have the edge simply because he was patient, didn't talk much and knew how to "keep his enemies close."

On the other hand, Tony Montana could, on a whim, start blasting when least expected and take everyone by surprise. eek My money would still be with MC tho.

Don't know if this is were you wanted to go with this. Oh, and for the record, I didn't think MC's dialogue in the script you posted sounded like MC, although TM's sounded like SF dialog.

I guess what I'm saying is, although these characters would never get along, let alone be friends, it's an interesting concept.

I was just going to make as point about that. Mike's lines didnt seem to be in character, They were somewhere between Mike and Tony.It was funny thought, I got a laugh out of it.

I would love to see Al play both but I think MC would be able to take out TM beacuse of the family.

Yes, this would be a great one-man show with Al Pacino, and I'm sure he could do it.

I realized that too, that Micheal's lines weren't that Micheal-ish. You can tell that the writer was more of a Scarface fan but it was interesting, and funny, to see the two in a meeting.

funny, but its unrealistic and disrespectful to the characters.

funny but not believable

Well, Don Zaluchi, I highly doubt that the guy who wrote it was going for depth or anything. He was just trying to make people laugh. And that he did.
