Another Murder In Montreal: “24 Gang” Soldier Freddy Michel Killed As Violence Continues Out Of Quebec

April 10, 2024 — Montreal street gang lieutenant Freddy Michel was gunned down in a Laval shopping plaza parking lot last week as he sat behind the wheel of his BMW sedan in the middle of a snow storm. The 29-year old Michel was a member of the “24 Gang” — an affiliate of the Blood Family Mafia crew — and about to possibly be sent back to jail for violating his parole conditions. His court date was scheduled 48 hours following his slaying.

The Rizzutos are currently at war with the Hells Angels after multi decades of a fruitful partnership that fell apart in the late 2010s with the emergence of new leadership in the Hells Angels, more specifically the tenacious and beloved Marty (The Capo) Robert, who right now is considered Public Enemy No. 1 by the SQ and RCMP and attempting a daring hostile takeover of the Rizzuto crime family’s rackets.

the rizzutos and mtl HA could still be considered at war in 2024 although there has been a lull lately in direct hits and arsons. this alliance though did not fall apart in late 2010's as stated. check one of the many lapresse or journal articles which describe the alliances and leadership of clans, HA and street gangs. mafia/HA alliance is said to be intact in 2019, 2021 reports and was only evealed by lapresse in 'the book' 3 part series where it was mentioned that the 2 groups, the rizzuto-sollecito clan and the robert-plouffe faction of the montreal HA chapter had a falling out at some point in 2022. as to what specifically that falling out was we still dont know.
