Your Mom's House
So episode 3, the FBI guy said that after they bugged the old lady’s apartment they weren’t getting anything good but that every thirty days they had to justify the wire by saying he was getting fruitful conversations. Did he just admit to lying? It’s approximately 47:36 mark. He may have just been trying to sum up the operation but based on how shady the FBI is, and the fact that they were competing against net York’s OCTF, it seems to me he was pulling a fast one.

I was hoping from the title of this series that it would be based on the book of the same title by John Gleeson, the prosecutor in the last Gotti trial, which was pretty interesting.

As others have said: None on this board will learn anything they didn't already know about Gotti from "Get Gotti." But I thought it was well produced, and it was interesting to hear from the judge and law enforcement people in detail, as well as to hear more of the tapes. Giacolone said Willie Boy's murder was "inevitable." Sure: Tell a guy who's been a government informant for 15 years that the government will protect him and then give him up because his murder was "inevitable."

As posters said, the best part is the law enforcement angle of the documentary. It's interesting to see about the strength and weakness of each cases. Having Giacalone on is also a big scoop.

The weakest part of the documentary is the mob men and woman they interviewed. They didn't bring anything interesting.

If the mob men interviewed were informers, they are just saying what the government told them to say. I would like it if they had Bruce Cutler on (Maybe they did?) Otherwise it's one-sided.

I struggle with taking Ruggiano serious. Yes, there are questions about Polisi's pedigree, but I find him more believable. (Also, prosecutors validated to what he testified.) The woman was more than annoying; I almost turned off due to her. It was great to see and hear Giacalone. She is very engaging, smart and was a looker in her day.

I thought Giacalone was just an ambitious p.o.s who was willing to get someone killed to win the case. She came across quite arrogant too and illogical. Not that I’m on the side of mobsters or rats but what she done was horrific and she should’ve been prosecuted for it. Always thought that from first reading the story. Fascinating to get her on it though regardless of the sins she has on her

Giacalone knew all of those guys grewing up she went to a Catholic high school, Our Lady of Wisdom Academy in the Italian neighborhood of Ozone Park. The school is on one side of 101st Avenue; on the other is the Bergen Hunt and Fish Club lol.
