Watching Sons of Anarchy the part about the CIA, has it been alleged secret agencies control the drug markets? I love SOA I don't know about the group you are giving the link to, but the cartels have to be organized to produce and distribute like they do, both within their own country and into other nations. The Mexicans are active all around the world.

I don't know about the group you are giving the link to, but the cartels have to be organized to produce and distribute like they do, both within their own country and into other nations. Yes definitely and with the free for all in the Mexican Government; there are very educated people that are associated with the cartels at the top to be able to have their business model be so successful for so long and get the in roads and connections with the the Mexican government & then the US Fed agencies they have. Also having the forethought to make a business paradigm switch from marijuana, to heroin and cocaine and then meth, these dudes are business savvy. Now their corner boys and soldiers are ruthless and come from super poor areas and do not have the best educational backgrounds as others that may have had a more formal education and possibly college educated in the US, Europe or Mexico. The Cult is the guys who do the killings. Do they even ever have the opportunity to meet the boss or the guys that are running the cartels finances and so forth? The answer is no. Most cartel soldiers start at age 14 or 15 years old and don't even make it to their 18th birthday. Its almost like there are two groups running one cartel. You got the CULT doing all the murders and torturing, then you got the guys involved in the white collar jobs who are college educated and can speak multiple languages fluently. These are the guys who are valued by the Cartels and actually make it somewhat of a career but still they end up dead or in prison doing hard time before they hit the age of 40. The difference between say a cartel in Mexico or a mob family from say Kansas City or Chicago is that in the mob everyone knows what every guys position is and more than likely have hung out together once or twice. Also if a mob guy is smart he can easily be retired living into his golden years enjoying birthdays in his 80's with friends and family at a nice house down in Florida or Arizona. This never ever happens in a cartel as most are gone long before that, and thats a fact. They do not allow you to retire in a Cartel. The only way you get out of that life is by death.
