Who are some of the guys you think will never change or consider stepping away from the life? We see Joey Merlino doing podcasts. I don't believe he's involved at this point. Allie Indelicato moved to Phoenix. I seriously doubt hes involved. Who else? Anthony Staino I think left the life. But who won't leave the life?

Alphonse DiPilato a Bonanno Family Captain. There's no reason to believe he isn't still involved just because he moved to Arizona.

What exactly does the Mob pay Paulie to do? Does he have a legit position? Is he really a made man?

Carparelli is a debt collector and was sentenced for extortion is nucleare if he was made or just an associate definitely dont have a legit position.

Oh here's one: Virtually ALL of the rats, who almost always find themselves back in trouble for something or another. Even Michael Franzese, let's say for example tomorrow he's arrested for some scam or scheme, you think I'd be surprised? Nope!

You can't change the nature of the beast lol, that's why the Italian term pentito (regrets) is wrong, they are collaborator of justice.

I believe he was a golden gloves boxer during his younger years.

I think during his last sentencing, Mousie Massimino of Philadelphia was described by the prosecutor as having spent more than half his adult life in prison, and having been arrested something like 34 times. That's a lifer

I hope he is running things for whatever is left of that family. That guy is loyal and old school to the core.

Reminds me of the Richie Aprile character from the Sopranos when it comes to those two qualities. Plus he's tough as fuck as well.

If there is one guy left on the streets who would take out a you tube rat well it is him. Wouldnt that be something? A MOUSE taking out a RAT.

Alphonse is still active. I am sure he has 2 places one in NYC and the second in Arizona.

Why would they change or retire? Fear of death? Prison? Mobsters have always faced both. They knew what the potential consequences were when they joined. They knew years before they joined. Did it stop them? Sure you have your Michael Franzeses, Joey Merlinos, and John Gotti Jrs who by all appearances are done with organized crime, but those are rare and isolated cases. Some of you bring a civilian mindset to a Mafia forum. They don't think like you or me.

Yes,Hollander. The journalists create the word "pentito" better say collaborator of justice because no mafiosi, camorristi ecc truly regretted what they did but flip because feared long sentences or the 41 bis.
