There was a time when payphones were the safest way for the Wiseguys to communicate if they weren't able to F2F. Forget home phones!

Feds could tap a pay phone just as easy. Only a fuckin’ mook talks in the phone. Agree and payphones were only used to set up times for F2F, never any "real" conversations.
