All I'm saying is that the Gambino Family is stronger today than they were 20 years ago, which would be 2002. They were at their weakest under Peter Gotti. They're stronger than they were in the 1990s, they were a complete fucking wreck in that decade. True they may never be as strong as they were at their peak, but they can be stronger than they were 10 or 20 years ago, that's not a stretch at all. If anyone really thinks that they were stronger under Junior or Peter Gotti than they are/were under such men as Frank Cali, Dom Cefalu, and Lorenzo Mannino I don't know what to say.

It can be possible that while they may never be as powerful as they were in the 1960s, it's very possible for them to be more powerful than they were in the 1990s. We only think of the mob as getting weaker and weaker with each passing decade, but time has shown that simply isn't true. The Bonannos for example regrouped under Joe Massino and were stronger in the 1990s than they were in the 1980s, simply because they had an official boss on the streets unlike when they were under Philip Rastelli.

Nino Gaggi and Nicky Scarfo Sr. was father figures for Montiglio and Leonetti,so even if Leonetti was a stone cold killer,he with the excuse of son flipped.

There is a ton of ways that this family or any family can survive and become stronger if they plan on it from stocks and now crypto to the old ways from loan sharking and gambling and unions. There are many gamblers out there that cannot go to a casino and drop 1k on a game but the local guys will give you that "loan" on the gambling

I agree with every choice except Gotti. He did over 6 years, and withstood 3 trials with hung juries.

Cutulo was not made or even close to it, but he is nothing like his father, and did try to get into things. The worst is the Franzese son who recorded his own father for the feds.

Nicky jr was a good soldier and earner for the lukes and was for a while the capo of nj crew but his obsession to turn back to philly led to his demotion and anyway he got 30 y not a life sentence.

Other families did not respect Junior Gotti, they respected the position he held...He was a nobody who never did anything and had the family given to him, what did he ever do to earn respect from leaders in other families ??

As far as Junior being a tough guy, yeah he did his prison time and then comes out and fights with his enemies in childish online arguments, gets stabbed and does nothing but call reporters to call the person a crackhead...That's not the most manly things to do !!

DeLeonardo is not one to tell us who was respected considering he is a rat, and worse, he ratted on Gotti who had been his friend. I am not saying Gotti Jr. was like Chin, but calling him names like sissy or placing him in the category of the others on the list is too much a stretch. In fact, Micky Scars belongs on the list in place of Gotti.

Sissy is just a catchy word for the title I used. My whole point, sissy or not, he wasn't a good fit for the life, and he wasn't no Gotti Sr.
