JackieAprile OP J Capo Joined: Jun 2016 Posts: 279	What I mean is, is it possible to tell where my Italian ancestors might’ve originated from? My mom’s family came initially from Angri in Campania, but one thing I’ve noted is that for Italians who were from the turn of the 20th Century, they were tall. My great grandpa was 6 feet, his sons were 5’10, 5’11” 1/2” and over 6 feet in height. They were also rather fair. Is there any way of figuring out their descent? Meaning who they initially came from?

[img]https://ibb.co/jr2TbBR[/img] [img]https://ibb.co/X84tMQs[/img] Top was of Calabrese descent and is 5’8” Bottom was of Neapolitan/Salerno descent and was 5’11” Very different features despite both being Italian

It took a DNA test for me to discover that my biological father's people were originally from the Puglia region. I think a DNA test might provide you with some answers. Signor V.
