Those are all very good choices, the Luciano one is excellent. There is a short version they released of Gotti and Dellacroce, where Gotti is saying he will not give up Ruggerio, and Dellacroce is telling him he has to listen to the boss. I think at the end Dellacroce says they will have to "Roll it all up and go to war." I believe a link to it has been on this site.


Sadly they only release what they want us and others to hear. Maybe in hundred years from now they will release more. So we just have to remain patient.

Plus, the technology for making good recordings of wiretaps just wasn't there in the Luciano days. Also, most of the FBI's surveillance until well into the Seventies was either illegal or extra-legal. They used the bugs to help their investigations, but they couldn't use them as evidence in court. They usually destroyed the tapes after they were no longer useful. The RICO Act provided standard, legally admissible criteria for using electronic surveillance as evidence. Even then, as Jace says, they only released what they wanted to release.
