This is a interesting fact that; I talked with my buddy about 30 minutes ago;

Which administration had served together as Boss; Underboss; Consigliere for the most years in the history of the mafia.

We came to the conclusion; It was the administration of the old “Gagliano family”.

Thomas Gagliano (Boss); Thomas Lucchese (Underboss) and Steve Rondelli (Consigliere) served in the administration for 20 years together; or 22 years together depending if Gagliano died in 1953. This has to be the record right? The next closest would be;

Carlo Gambino; Neil Dellacroce and Joe N Gallo. Im guessing this trio had Atleast 15 years as a trip right?

What do you guys think?? Would love some responses!!

There's not one single photo of Steve Rondelli, and probably not a single photo of Tommy Gagliano. Yes, that's right, the photo that's often passed as being Gagliano may not even be him. And while we're on the subject, there are very few photos of Tommy Lucchese as well.

All three of them guys were secretive as you can get.

The Gagliano administration is definitely a mystery. Served together for 20 years.

Tony Milano Consigliere ( till 1976)

I think Pittsburgh could have been just as,long with LaRocca, Mannarino and Amato?

Good pick on Cleveland Augustus. Pittsburgh had three different Consigliere who served with Amato and LaRocca, before Amato switched to Consigliere until he died. Buffalo, after the death of Buffalo Bill in 1932, they had two Consigliere both were aged members from 1932 till 1953 when John Montana became Consigliere. Both members are unknown and both had died from natural causes.
Detroit had the longest serving administration members together, from 1931 till 1963, you had Guglielmo Tocco, Joseph Zerilli, and Angelo Meli, until Tocco retired to Florida. On a side note, I believe Angelo Meli has been the longest serving Consigliere in America LCN. I know poster will say Tony Accardo but Tony had stepped away a couple of times only to have to come back into the role.

Chicago is set up a little differently but Accardo/Ricca ran that family for 25-30 years.

Raymond Patriarca ran New England from the mid-1950's up to his death in 1984, about 30 years.

Mike, it is about administration members serving the longest time together in their positions even rotating positions from Consigliere to boss, boss to underboss, boss to Consigliere, underboss to boss ect.
The longest serving boss in LCN is Stefano Magaddino from 1922-1974, later years he was not in control, but still held the title.

@Giacomo_Vacari.

I’m glad you said it right buddy “My topic is about “Administration members serving the longest time together”

It had to be Tommy Gagliano; Tommy Lucchese and Steve Rondelli…. They were in the administration for 20 years together…. 1931-1951/1953

The next would be Carlo Gambino; Neil Dellacroce and Joe N Gallo.

Joe N Gallo became Consigliere in 1965. So the trip of Carlo, Neil and Gallo had 11 years together not 15.

11 years is still impressive. Thanks for correcting me.

Who was Carlo Gambino’s original consigliere in 1957??

Joseph Riccobono was Carlo Gambino first Consigliere. Zavattoni, do you mean administration members that served time together and not switch roles during that time?

Didn’t Magiddino head the commission at one point?

Yes BH, Magaddino headed the Commission for years as its most senior leader.

It was in later years that Magaddino served as the head of the Commission. We know it was Luciano, then Profaci, Mangano, Bonanno, then Magaddino, then Lucchese and Gambino. Gambino died, it was Lombardo, followed by Castellano. After that it was Vincent Gigante, followed by Joe Massino as Amuso, Gigante, Gotti, and Persico were all in prison. That does not mean those guys did not have a say, it just means who was the most senior member and who was free on the streets at the time.
