Wow, all these people I never even heard of, just when you thought you heard of them all.

Was this guy around Rico Ponzo? Was he part of the renegade crew or was he w the Frank Salemme side?

I don't think he was part of the renegade crew because the guy he killed along with Gary Carter was Gigi Portalla's bodyguard, Bobby Nogueira. I thought that I read somewhere that they both owed money to Nogueira and that may have been the reason for the hit. Can't be sure on that though.

But 54 years old, crashing through a liquor store and sipping a beer waiting for the Cops to assault them too? Not the best and brightest I don't think.

So if it was because they owed money and just didn't want to pay, that's another one that wasn't really a mob hit.

That hit was part of the war and went down like 15 or 20 minutes after another team blastxed "Gigi" Portalla/Marino and an Irish guy he was with...Bacigalupo was a Salemme guy.
